This transmission comes BD Tapshift ready which includes a new gear lever, gear selection display, and control module with fingertip shifting. The 48RE Tapshifter unlocks full electronic gear selection, torque converter lock-up control, gear limiting function and a full manual gear mode.

The stock transmission is designed to handle the output of the stock engine, but not much more. Increase the durability of your drivetrain with a BD transmission.
